The 'Social Economy Satellite Account for Poland 2018' is the first social economy satellite account to be created in Poland. It has been developed as part of the Eurostat framework project, 'Satellite Accounts of the Social Economy', which is funded by the European Commission. Statistics Poland prepared the satellite account, making Poland the second country after Slovenia to complete its satellite account. The primary objective of the satellite account is to demonstrate the scale of the social economy sector and its actual monetary contribution to the national economy.

Zašto

The study aligns with the United Nations' vision for the development of public statistics, emphasising the importance of looking beyond GDP contributions to gain a better understanding of social and economic dynamics.  The social economy satellite account is a valuable source of data for tracking the sector's impact on public services, as well as its contribution to social and economic development.

Ključne aktivnosti

The Social Economy Satellite Account for Poland 2018 provides a wealth of data on the social economy, including its size, the proportion of Polish citizens engaged in voluntary work, and the sector’s contribution to the national GDP.
