Impact Hub Ljubljana is a branch of the global Impact Hub network, situated in the heart of Ljubljana's city centre. It provides co-working spaces and acts as an innovation accelerator for social and impact-driven enterprises, offering services such as office space management, virtual office services and event facilities. Another Impact Hub branch is active in Istria.
Impact Hub Ljubljana promotes inclusive and sustainable innovation. It acts as a link between entrepreneurs, investors, organisations with a social mission and a focus on societal impact. The Impact Hub Network’s main goal is to support transformative ideas by providing access to networks, expertise and spaces.
Impact Hub’s action focuses on two areas: co-working and physical spaces as well as incubation programmes. Their co-working services offer quality spaces as an alternative to traditional offices. They also offer private office rentals. Impact Hub Ljubljana offers three main incubation programmes.
The first is the Social Impact Award, an international initiative across 19 countries that supports young people in developing innovative ideas to address social and environmental challenges. It provides education, mentorship and a supportive community to help turn ideas into impactful projects.
The second programme is called Impact Launchpad. This intensive 1.5-month programme for social entrepreneurs focuses on refining and scaling sustainable business models through workshops, mentoring, and practical development phases, culminating in a pitch competition.
Finally, Impact Next is a sponsored programme for early-stage, purpose-driven founders. It offers up to EUR 100 000 in investment, expert workshops, and personalised mentorship to accelerate their ventures.
Beyond these programmes, Impact Hub runs the CIRCO programme, which helps companies to innovate based on circular economy principles to create sustainable business solutions. Impact Hub also participates in the SEED2SCALE project, which aims to establish National Competence Centres for Social Innovation across several European countries, including Slovenia.
Impact Hub Ljubljana has over 150 active members, and its events have attracted over 1 000 participants. Through its programmes and initiatives, the hub has supported numerous ventures in scaling their impact and connecting with investors and partners who share a commitment to social and environmental responsibility.
